Wendy’s Shake It Weight Management Challenge

The Big Plan

Current weight: 66kgs
Waist: 76 cm
Love handles (hips): 102 cm
Desired outcome:
1.    To lose 5 kgs in 6 weeks following program
2.    Increase body fat loss
3.    Increase abdominal fat loss
4.    At the end of my program be able to maintain weight loss without a struggle

How am I going to do this?
Food:
Eat 2 healthy low carbohydrate meals per day – protein size of my palm + 2 handfuls of vegetables
1 handful fruit
I will use the ‘Shake It’ meal replacements as they are so filling, low calorie, no fructose and adequate protein
I will use ‘Keto Bars’ low carbohydrate, again no fructose protein snacks
1-2 tablespoons oil or nuts
Drink:
1 -2 litres of water daily
Exercise:
Anything that can get my heart rate going about 4 times a week
I choose cycling as I can do this for a few hours on a Sunday and enjoy it without really knocking myself out + Power Yoga as I can choose the length and intensity of the classes according to my schedule – I aim for 3 per week
How do I know I’m burning fat?
I will be testing & checking myself here in the clinic as well as weigh-ins every week, measuring with a tape measure and entering details into the ‘Shake It’ diary
Getting started:
Ok, gone through the shopping list & there is nothing special I need from the shops. I have some fruit that is not recommended, but bugger it, I’ll eat it rather than waste it.
I will continue to take my anit-oxidant supplements and herbs to control hot flushes as they have really dumbed down since started using this formula.
I have bought the ‘Shake It’ products I need and looking at them lined up in front of me in the kitchen I see how I will be able to add frozen berries to the vanilla shake for my breakfast after I finish off the bananas (not on fruit list – too high in fructose → insulin resistance etc)

In front of me I have:
•    3 x boxes of assorted flavoured Keto Bars (30 bars, only eat ½ bar as a snack – very protein dense)
•    1 x tub of vanilla shake, it comes in Dutch choc as well, might buy one of those as I get into the program just for a change in flavour (20 serves)
•    1 x box of soup sachets (20)
•    2 x Meta Oil – fat burner and keep my skin from dehydrating (think young & beautiful)
•    1 x instruction booklet – very detailed
•    1 x recipe book – it has some really easy & inspiration ideas in it + recipe in it for a flourless chocolate cake that counts for a snack!!!!

I will give a weekly account of how I am going - the highlights and lowlights
